ClasTran provides rides for:

  • Elderly (60 +) and Disabled residents of Jefferson and Shelby County that reside outside of the MAX VIP Service Area
  • Anyone who lives in rural Jefferson or Shelby County
  • Clients of Social Service Agencies that have a service contract with ClasTran
  • All residents of Walker County who can access the bus stops on the Jasper fixed route or the Walker County Deviated fixed route
  • Walker County residents who qualify for complementary ADA paratransit living within ¾ mile of the fixed route
