ClasTran Introduces Same Day Service

Enhancing Accessibility for All


Dear ClasTran Community,


We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our services! ClasTran, your trusted nonprofit public transit agency, is now offering same day service to better meet the needs of our valued passengers.


What is same day service?


We understand that sometimes life's plans change unexpectedly, and you may require transportation on short notice. With same day service, eligible individuals aged 60 and older, persons with disabilities, and those residing in or traveling to rural areas in Jefferson and Shelby counties can request transportation for the same day. Our commitment to your convenience remains unwavering, and we are here to support you whenever you need us.


How to access same day service:


Getting started with our same day service is straightforward. Here's what you need to know:


  1. Availability: Same day service is offered on a very limited, first-come first-served basis, so we encourage you to book your trips as early as possible to secure your spot.

  2. Booking Timeframe: You can request a same day trip by calling our friendly customer service representatives any time during our operating hours. Remember, the earlier you call, the better your chances of securing a spot.

  3. Operating Hours: Our customer service representatives are available to assist you from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. We strive to deliver all passengers to their final destinations by 5:00 p.m.

  4. Pre-Scheduled Trips: Don't worry, we haven't done away with our pre-scheduled trips! You can still schedule trips up to 14 days in advance, providing you with a range of options to plan ahead.
